CELEBRATION OF LORD BUDDHA's 2554rd BIRTHDAY

The 2554rd Buddha Jayanti, the birth Anniversary of Lord Gautam Buddha, the messager of world peace.Baisakh Purnima is celebrated as the birth day of Lord Buddha.This year's birthday was celebrated in different places of Kathmandu valley including Lumbini (birthplace of Lord Buddha). Different program was successfully organized in Boudhanath stupa, Swoyambhunath stupa and different stupas and monastries. This day is the greatest day for all Buddhists. In regard to this ceremony, a lecture on the Buddhism was given by different well knowned Lamas and Rinpoche at Boudhanath stupa and other monastries. Likewise Tashi Tamang Gumba and Tamang Gumba society also organized funeral ceremony on the name of Penor Rinpoche on 45th an 8th may 2009 Baisakh. Buddha Jayanti is celebrated world wide.
